SIDNEY'S THOUGHTS NUMBER THREE

XENOPHOBIA

What is XENOPHOBIA?

The Readers Digest Dictionary defines it as persons who are unduly fearful or comtemptuous of strangers or foreigners or of foreign ideas and cultures, especially as refledted in his or her political or cultural views. Thank you Readers Digest.

I have said it before and I say it again.

If you are a religionist, you will believe in creation by a supreme being.

If you are an evolutionist you will believe in creation by circumstances where certian vital elements (Chemical Substances) are brought together under ideal conditions existent in nature that create living creatures,  plants, planets stars et cetera.

Both the above are creationist theories that have caused much discussion and anger amongst religious believers on the one hand and evolutionists on the other hand. The religionists also have diverse beliefs and are antogonistic towards one another which borders on hate hence the religious wars that have occurred in the past and the acrimony that exists today. 

Everyone is free to adhere to the beliefs that they hold and people should respect the beliefs of those who have opposing views.

Whatever you may believe the factual position is that every living thing and non living thing was created by the same means, that is either evolution or a divine being. We are all related because we all have the same core ancestoral group. Let us accept that we are all brothers and sisters with  common ancestors. 

LET US SPREAD OUR LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER AND ELIMINATE THE PREJUDICE THAT EXISTS AMONG SOME PEOPLE WHO HAVE A DIFFERENT COLOUR, SPEAK A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE OR HAVE A DIFFERENT CULTURE.
